eume, short for eumelanin was the third installment of an interactive exhibition trilogy forthe Overtown Music and Arts Festival.
eume celebrated brown and black skin tones, allowing festival-goers to draw themselves into their city's fabric.
The piece was constructed from two 6x6' hexagons and three 5' pentagons. An aerial view of the exhibition mimicked the composition of eumelanin, the specific melanin that creates brown and black skin tones.

non-profit who's primary focus is to empower teens to become economically and socially
self-sufficient within their
communities.
I simplified the logo by creating a hand drawn mark that would appeal to teens and legible at any size.
