eume, short for eumelanin was the third installment of an interactive exhibition trilogy forthe Overtown Music and Arts Festival.
eume celebrated brown and black skin tones, allowing festival-goers to draw themselves into their city's fabric.
The piece was constructed from two 6x6' hexagons and three 5' pentagons. An aerial view of the exhibition mimicked the composition of eumelanin, the specific melanin that creates brown and black skin tones.
This design was developed after the passing of the Notorious RBG. We have to vote like our bodies depend on it ladies (and allies). $1 from each sticker sold is dontated to Planned Parenthood.
