eume, short for eumelanin was the third installment of an interactive exhibition trilogy forthe Overtown Music and Arts Festival.
eume celebrated brown and black skin tones, allowing festival-goers to draw themselves into their city's fabric.
The piece was constructed from two 6x6' hexagons and three 5' pentagons. An aerial view of the exhibition mimicked the composition of eumelanin, the specific melanin that creates brown and black skin tones.

Martin ArtQuest is an interactive area within the Frist Art Museum. Wanting to modernize this area, we simplified the logo and used the Frist "s" as the crossbar of the A to tie it into the Frist Art Museum's new brand.
